Young Adults' Group

“Dear young people, let yourselves be taken over by the light of Christ, and spread that light wherever you are.”
— Pope St John Paul II
Young Adults' Group

The Holy Name Young Adults’ Group seeks to deepen the Faith of those aged 18-35. Meeting fortnightly in term times, the Young Adults’ Group begins at 6pm with Vespers and a Holy Hour in the Church followed by pizza in the Meeting Room; a talk is then given by Fr McCaffrey. Past topics have included the virtues, the Blessed Virgin, the angels and the Church Fathers.

There are also other functions held throughout the year such as film nights and social events. The Young Adults’ Group is also responsible for organising multiple events throughout the year such as picnics, quiz nights and fundraisers, which are all excellent opportunities to meet new people and to be more involved in the community.
