The Post-1st Holy Communion class is at 11am today, Sun. 7th July.

The new toilet block is now finished. The sacristy toilet will no longer be available during Mass.

The 18-25yo Young Adults will meet at 6:30pm this Mon. 8th July, beginning with Adoration at Holy Name, followed by a social activity. Please contact Joseph Hackett for details.

NB: Mon. evening Scripture Class is in recess until 22nd July; there is also no Monday servers’ practice during the School Holidays.

If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith, the next set of catechism classes have begun on Tuesdays at 7pm. These weekly classes are for those who are interested in becoming a Catholic, and also for those who are Catholic already, but who would like a ‘refresher’. Please see Fr McGuckin for more details.

Thursday evening’s Introduction to the Bible class continues this week at 7:40pm.

The Siena Women’s Group (35+) will meet this Sat. (2nd Sat. of the month) for prayer, a spiritual talk (Fr McGuckin), reflection and fellowship. It begins with Adoration at 9:30am and concludes around midday. Please contact Narelle Price (0413 208 341) for more details.

Aid to the Church in Need (ACN):
Tens of millions of Christian families worldwide are exiled due to their faith. Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) works to keep faith alive in these places. An ACN promoter will be visiting our community next Sun. 14th July, to share how we can help persecuted Christians. You can support ACN by purchasing religious items, signing up for their newsletter, or praying for our suffering and persecuted brothers and sisters. Those who sign up will receive a set of free rosary beads. Please visit the info table outside our church or the meeting room.

Fr McCaffrey is currently at the FSSP General Chapter in the USA. This meeting is held every six years and reviews the work of the FSSP around the world over the last six years, as well as electing the new Superior General and his Council. Fr returns on Sat. 20th July. Please keep the Chapter in your prayers during this time.
