Happy Easter to all! A special thank you to all those who have helped sing, serve, clean, decorate and so on for the Holy Week and Easter Liturgies!

Congratulations to Shyam and Mathew who are being baptised this Easter.

Tomorrow, Easter Monday 1st April is a public holiday. There will be one Mass at 8:30am. There will be Scripture Class on Easter Monday at 7:30pm. There will not be servers’ practice.

Br Bede Cannavo OSB will be ordained to the priesthood this Wed. 3rd April in Hobart. Br Bede is a former member of this community. He will visit us in June this year to offer Mass and give 1st blessings. To celebrate his ordination this community will present him with a set of vestments when he visits us. If you would like to contribute to the purchase of these vestments, please see Fr McCaffrey. Please keep Br Bede in your prayers as he prepares for ordination.

There will be no Thursday evening class by Fr Sofatzis this week. Classes resume after the April School Holidays.

There will be a Divine Mercy Holy Hour and Devotions at Holy Name Church at 3-4pm next Sun. 7th April. Confessions will be available from 2:30pm.

Date claimer: We will be holding a fundraiser movie night on Tues 16th April at 6.30pm. The movie is ‘Cabrini” about the life of St Frances Xavier Cabrini (Mother Cabrini), an Italian immigrant to New York in the 19th century. More details available next weekend. Tickets $22/adult. Cash only.

Our next Youth Group Activity Day will be held on Sat. 20th April. Please see flyers and registration forms for details. Registrations are due next Sun. 7th April.

We will be having a parish picnic and tennis afternoon from 11:30am at Joslin Reserve (3rd Ave, Joslin) on Sun. 21st April. BYO food, chairs, etc. Please see Janine Crowe for details.

Fr McCaffrey would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and joining in his birthday celebrations last week.
