1st Holy Communion and Confirmation classes resume today at 11am.
Scripture Class resumes this Mon. evening at 7:30pm, with the continuation of our reading of the Gospel according to St Matthew.
Thursday evening classes resume next week on 11th May.
There is no children’s catechism this Friday. Classes and Youth Group resume on Fri. 12th May.
This Friday is the 1st Friday of the Month.
- 10am: Mothers’ Rosary Group meets for morning tea and the Rosary. Please contact Louise Moir for details (contact info here).
- 6:30pm: Mass followed by 1st Friday Devotions and Benediction with Adoration continuing overnight until 6:30am Saturday. There will be the usual Holy Hours for the clergy at 3am and families at 5:30am.
- Masses on Saturday morning are at 7am and 8:30am.
Fr Sofatzis will be on leave this week, returning Monday 8th May.
Next Sunday we will farewell Brett Green who is moving to Europe early next month to continue his preparation to enter the FSSP seminary in Germany this August. There will be a morning tea after the 9:15am Mass for Brett. Please join us and bring a plate if you are able. Thank you.
Servers’ training resumes Monday week, 5:30pm, 8th May.
The 18-25 Young Adults next meet for Adoration, dinner & discussion at 6:30pm on Mon. 8th May. All welcome.
There will be another Vocations Morning for men open to considering a priestly vocation on Sat. 13 May. starting with Mass at 8:30am, followed by morning tea, a talk, opportunity for questions, Holy Hour (at 11am) and ending with a lunch nearby. Please let Fr Sofatzis know if interested.
Our Annual Quiz Night fundraiser for Hutt St Centre has been rescheduled for Sat. 20th May. Tickets will go on sale next week at $10pp.
Our Annual May Crowning will take place on Sunday 21st May (remember to bring a bouquet), to be followed by the annual Archdiocesan Marian Procession. Save the date!
