Today is Pentecost Sunday. There will be a fundraiser community sausage sizzle, with homemade desserts (scones, cannolis, and more) and coffee following the 8am and 9:15am Masses. Please come and support the Youth Group.
We will also be joining in the Archdiocesan Marian Procession at 1:30pm (for 2pm start) from Victoria Park to the Cathedral.

A plenary indulgence is granted, under the usual conditions, to the faithful who publicly recite the hymn, Veni Creator, today.

Given the recent floods and devastation in Kenya, there will be a special leaving collection today towards Caritas’ “Help Fight Hunger in Kenya” Appeal.

The 26-35yo Young Adults Group meets this evening (19th May), beginning with a Holy Hour at 6:15pm, followed by pizza and a talk from Fr McCaffrey. Please contact Gaby Nara for more details.

Fr Sofatzis continues a new course titled, Introduction to the Bible, on Thurs. evenings, 7:40-8:30pm. All welcome.

Youth Group meets this Friday, beginning with Catechism classes at 5:30pm.

Our annual Quiz Night fundraiser for Hutt St Centre is this Sat. 25th May beginning at 7:30pm in the Ellengowan Hall. Tickets $10, and may be purchased after Mass (at the bookstall) or at the door (cash only). Proceeds go to the kitchen at Hutt St Centre, a work of the Daughters of Charity. Pizzas will be available to order on the night ($20, for 16”), delivered from Payneham Pizza.

Our Community’s annual May Crowning will take place next Sun. 26th May after the 9:15am Mass. Please bring along a bouquet!

There will be a day of recollection for men on Sat. 1st June. In Noarlunga Downs, led by Fr Ken Barker MGL. Please see the poster for more details.

First Holy Communions will take place at the 9:15am Mass on Sun. 2nd June.

We will running silent retreats for men and women in January 2025, directed by Fr Adrian Wee FSSP. Please see the flyers for details and to register – expressions of interest are due by 1st July.
