The Annual Day of the Unborn Child Appeal Special Collection will be tak-en up today at all Masses. Thank you for your generosity. Today’s pro-ceeds from Café Trad will also go to the appeal.
1st Holy Communion classes continue today at 11am.
A new 18-25 Young Adults’ Group will meet for the first time tomorrow, Mon. 13 Feb. at 6:30pm. It will commence with half an hour’s adoration in Holy Name Church, with a social activity following. Please contact Fr Sofatzis for details. All welcome.
Scripture Class continues this Mon. at 7:30pm (the Gospel according to St Matthew) in the Meeting Room.
Beginners Latin continues this Tues. from 7:00pm-8:45pm in the Meeting Room.
Introductory Theology Classes continue this Thurs. evening from 7:30-8:30pm in the Meeting Room. All welcome.
There will be pancakes next Sun after 9:15am Mass, $2 / $5 for 3. Cash only.
The next workshop on the writings of Jordan Peterson will be on Wed. 15th Feb. in the hall at Holy Name at 7:30pm. All welcome.
There will be another Vocations Morning for men open to considering a priestly vocation on Sat. 18 Feb. starting with Mass at 8:30am, followed by morning tea, a talk, opportunity for questions, Holy Hour (at 11am) and ending with a lunch nearby. Please let Fr Sofatzis know if interested.
There will be a Gala for Life dinner at 6pm on Tues. 21st Feb. at the Strathmore Hotel, North Terrace to fundraise for Pregnancy Help Australia. Please visit galaforlife.com.au to purchase tickets.
Catechism Classes for children (ages 8-17) will now occur every Friday in term time 5:30-6:15pm.
Youth Group also continues to run on the 2nd and 4th Fridays (this year, however, in 3 streams). Please see the registration forms by the doors of the Church for more info.
