Today there will be a special (leaving) collection for the work of pro-life organisations in Adelaide. There will also be pancakes after the 9:15am Mass today (for ‘Shrove Sunday’!) and proceeds from coffee and pancakes today will go to the pro-life collection. $2 / pancake; $5 / 3 pancakes; $2 / can of soft drink. Gluten free and lactose free pancakes are available.
The 26-35yo Young Adults Group has its first meeting for 2024 next Sunday evening, beginning with a Holy Hour at 6pm, followed by a shared dinner and a talk from Fr McCaffrey. Please contact Gaby Nara for more details (gnara1990[at]hotmail.com)
The 18-25yo Young Adults will meet for the first time this year at 6:30pm on Mon 12th Feb., beginning with Adoration at Holy Name, followed by dinner and a talk at 7:15pm at the Alma.
Josef Kolberg will give a free lunchtime organ recital in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral at 1pm on Tue 13th Feb. (Shrove Tuesday). Please see flyer here.

This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. There will be Low Masses with the distribution of blessed ashes at 7am and 9.30am. There will be Solemn Mass with the distribution of ashes at 6:30pm.
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting (aged 18-59) and abstinence (aged 14+) throughout the church. This means one full meal, and two snacks (which do not amount together to a full meal).
Classes for those interested in becoming Catholic will begin this Thursday evening, 15th Feb, from 7:30pm-8:30pm, in the Atrium. Next to the playground.
Simon Carrington from FireUp Ministries will be giving a talk on the virtue of chastity and relationships for young adults and teens at 6:30pm this Sat. 17th Feb. in the Ellengowan Hall. See the flyer here.

Adoration and Confessions will be available at Holy Name Church throughout, from 6:30-9pm.

Commencing from Ash Wednesday, the Mon. to Fri. Mass times will be as follows:
- Mon, Tues & Wed: 7am and 9:30am
- Thurs & Fri: 7am and 6:30pm.
- Weekend Mass times remain unchanged.
- There also will be Stations of the Cross at 6pm on the Fridays of Lent
