Tomorrow, Mon. 2 Jan. is the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the Patronal Feast of our church. It is also a public holiday. There will be only one Mass in this church tomorrow, a Sung Mass at 8:30am.
Mass times for the rest of the week are as normal.
The altar servers’ activity day will take place tomorrow, Mon. 2 Jan. after the 8:30am Sung Mass.
The Blessing of Epiphany water will take place at 5:30pm on Thurs. 5 Jan.
There will be a Solemn Requiem Mass for the repose of the Soul of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, this Thursday at 7pm. Requiescat in pace. All welcome.
The Feast of the Epiphany is on Fri. 6 Jan. There will be a 7am Low Mass, and 6:30pm Solemn Mass followed by 1st Friday devotions and overnight Adoration.

Holy Name Youth Group (8-17 year olds) has three activity days scheduled for Thurs. 12 to Sat. 14 Jan. More information is available on the flyers and forms by the doors of the Church.
Average cost to run the 3 days per child is ~$110 (~$4000 total); if you would like to “sponsor a child” / donate to help offset costs, please see Fr McCaffrey or Fr Sofatzis.
Please remember the sick in your prayers, especially Pat Vice, Bill Mamo (Tina Marsh’s brother), Jane Carey, Kathryn Nader, Tony Caruso, Luise Obrist (Gaby Freer’s mother), Vincenza Martucci (Ines Barson’s mother) as well as Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. Please remember also the recently deceased and also those whose anniversaries occur about this time.
