St Martha’s Helpers

“Give alms from your possessions to all who live uprightly, and do not let your eye begrudge the gift when you make it. Do not turn your face away from any poor man, and the face of God will not be turned away from you.”
— Tobit 4: 7-12
St Martha’s Helpers

St Martha’s Helpers was established in order to coordinate the provision of home-cooked meals to the more vulnerable members of the Holy Name community. The meals are donated by generous parishioners of the community who wish to support those in need, such as the sick, elderly and new/expectant mothers. Any Holy Name parishioner can donate a home-cooked meal to St Martha’s helpers provided they contact Marguerite prior to placing the meal in the meeting room freezer. Meals which have not been labelled or stored correctly cannot be accepted.
