Welcome! We are the Adelaide Latin Mass Community at the Church of the Holy Name in Stepney, and we form part of the Adelaide Catholic Cathedral Parish. With the approval of the Archbishop of Adelaide, His Grace, Patrick O’Regan, we are served by priests from the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP), who faithfully celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass and Sacraments according to the liturgical books of 1962.
We are blessed to be a thriving and active Community which provides many liturgical, social and educational activities for parishioners of all ages. Daily Mass, Confession and bi-weekly Eucharistic Adoration times are listed below as well as on our Community Calendar. Information about our many other Community groups and activities may be found by visiting the Community Life pages of this website.
Whether you have been a Catholic your whole life or are new to the Church, we invite you to join us to pray and worship, as well as to learn more about and grow in our marvelous Catholic Faith.
If you are new to the Traditional Latin Mass, you are not alone. All visitors are welcome! We have prepared some helpful information for you here. Our main Sunday Sung Mass is at 9:15am. There is a cuppa after this Mass every Sunday in the Meeting Room (located diagonally across the carpark). Please do not hesitate to introduce yourselves to the priests and to other parishioners. We hope to see you soon!
